Nkosi Bourne drops new single “WWIDWY”

Brooklyn- based artist, Nkosi Bourne has released his latest single “WWIDWY”. The song title stands for What Would I Do Without You? and serves as a follow up to his most recent single “Saving Grace” which was released last month.

The track sees Nkosi discuss his love for his sister and the scorn he has for her father for taking her out of Nkosi’s life for years. “WWIDWY” bares the displacement of Bourne’s family for the world to see. This theme was also prevalent in “Saving Grace” in which Bourne addressed the feeling of not being able to see his sister in over 2 years due to custody battles, and how it has haunted him. Bourne has gone to music to serve as a form of therapy during these tough times.

“WWIDWY” sees the Brooklyn artist at his most vulnerable rapping over sober instrumentals.
